Marriage	27 Apr 1785	Whiteley Creek, Whiteley Township,Greene County, Pennsylvania, United States   [1, 2]
Notes	It appears that John loved his wife very much and wished not to endanger her life by trying to start a family to soon after her marriage, as she was still just a child at the time and he was all of 14 years her senior. They did not have their first child until his child bride was about 18 years of age. Not all men of this time period would have waited so long although it does appear that he eagerly made up for lost time producing at least 13 children with his wife. + 14. Jemima Garrison, b. Abt 1808, Virginia, now West Virginia or Pennsylvania Find all individuals with events at this location [Foster]. It is believed that this is a relative that was taken in by the couple but no solid evidence supports who the biological parents are. All records indicate she is not the biological child of John or Rebecca. Married: The residence of John Minor.
